In this
first Module we will learn the foundations necessary to understand the anatomy and function of the cranio sacral system** and the basic techniques needed to evaluate and treat.
Students will learn techniques
to release the fascia and soft tissues, and a 10-step protocol to assess and treat the whole body. In the course there will be a good balance between theory, demonstration and
supervised practice.
What we will learn in Module I:
•
Anatomy and Function of the cranio sacral system
• Cranio sacral rhythm.
• Fascia as a global body system.
• Techniques to release the pelvic floor, respiratory diaphragm, thoracic inlet, hyoid bone and cranial
base.
• Still Point Induction, technique of the fourth ventricle.
• Phases and
characteristics of cranio sacral rhythm, assessment and treatment.
• Energy management
techniques.
• Cranial joints.
• Intracranial
membranes.
• Cranial bones releasing techniques.
• Evaluation and treatment of dural tube.
• Temporomandibular joint and
techniques.
• 10
steps protocol.
** The cranio sacral
system is the system of membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord, the organs that govern all body functions. The rythm of this system can be felt, evaluated and corrected through palpation.
